Back in 2009, which feels like ages ago, Greek black metal entity Dødsferd released and album showing a new take on their style of raw black metal. That album, entitled Suicide and The Rest Of Your Kind Will Follow, slowed and elongated things in the Dodsferd camp. Comprised of just two sprawling depressive black metal tracks, the release saw Wrath add to his repertoire in excellent fashion. In the last decade plus, Wrath and Dødsferd have released quite a few albums. While some went back to faster and more aggressive side of the project, Wastes Of Life in 2015 brought back the depressive sound to wonderful results. That was, until now, my favorite release from the Dødsferd discography. However. Three years after the last proper full length, Dodsferd comes back to where a lot of momentum began in 2009, with the aptly titled Suicide and The Rest Of Your Kind Will Follow II.
