It is with great joy that I announce the signing of “The Mute”, a unique project of the master of electronic music Nick Chalntoupis.
The new EP, “Oscillating the Void” is set to be released by FYC Records in Digital and Cassette Format in the first months of 2026.
Father W. stated: “Listening to Nicks’ music, I was lost in glorious memories of the past, where pure electronic music sounds took you on a journey and created images of various emotions and peaceful dreams. A genuine artist from the underground, supporting the underground! These are the artists, our family in FYC Records accepts and supports!!!
Some words from Nick Chalntoupis:
Very proud working with FYC Records, as I am part of the underground movement from my teenage years and for the artistic freedom given to me for this release.
After 5 years, since my last release and working as a mixing and mastering egnineer for artists and shows in Greece and abroad, I have found the time to setup my modular synth and write some music with it.
This release means a lot! After a long time of working on other peoples’ music, I finally found some time to setup my modular synth, a 104hp x 21U. It was an experimental process, finding the right spot between weird electronics and melodies; I have found my voice through it.
The procedure of my new releases was one take recordings with no mixing and editing, based mostly on Japanese scales.

“Oscillating the Void” is set to be released in digital format on the Official Bandcamp Page of FYC Records in January 24th of 2026, while a Limited Special Edition Cassette Format with extra songs is expected in March of 2026.
